Origin Greece

Chalkidiki green olives are large and fleshy fruits with an oval shape. They grow exclusively in Greece on the Chalcidian Peninsula. They have excellent taste qualities and are very popular on Greek tables.

Proposal of application

Rinse olives under running water from brine or soak in water for several hours and drain. Then pour extra virgin olive oil over the olives. In addition, a few drops of lemon juice and dried oregano can be added to the oil.

Process

Olives are harvested by hand so as not to damage the skins at the right degree of ripeness for the type.

Properties

Olives are rich in antioxidants,vitamins (A, B1, B2, C, D, E and K) and minerals: phosphorus, potassium, iron, copper and fiber. It is low in calories, despite being a rich source of fatty acids. Olive consumption contributes to the well-being and proper functioning of the human body.
